K-Remote Standard

Many of our customers seem to have dogs that enjoy chewing on remotes. We are constantly getting inquiries and requests for these so we had an extra batch manufactured and now they are available to purchase.

We are essentially offering these at cost. The charge is to cover our cost plus shipping them to you for free.

This remote works with any Kanto iPair 5 or SYD 5 that has a serial number beginning in either iPort 5 or iPair 5. You will find this serial number on the back of your unit. It has the following format:

Speaker Name + Serial Number

 For example:

iPORT51234567

Please also note that when you originally purchased your speaker unit the remote that came included in the box was white. These replacement units are black.

Remote Control Features

BACKLIGHT
  • iPod backlights for 30 seconds

MUTE
  • Changes between mute on and mute off

REW/PREVIOUS
  • lays previous track. When pressed and held, this key will scan backwards while playing the track

PLAY/PAUSE
  • When iPod is playing a song, press this key to change play status between play or pause. Press and hold for 2 seconds, and the iPod will power off. When iPod is powered off, press this key once to power the iPod on

FF/NEXT
  • Plays next track. When pressed and held, this key will scan forward while playing the track

SHUFFLE
  • hange iPod shuffle status. In order of: shuffle on / shuffle tracks / shuffle albums / shuffle off

VOL UP
  • Increases volume

VOL DOWN
  • Decreases volume

REPEAT
  • Changes iPod repeat status. In order of: repeat on / repeat one track / repeat all tracks / repeat off

MENU
  • Works as the iPod’s Menu button

UP
  • Works as your iPod’s click-wheel up action

ENTER
  • Works as your iPod’s enter button

DOWN
  • Works as your iPod’s click-wheel down action

MODE
  • iPod select mode
  • RCA select mode
  • Auxiliary select mode
